Tenor, Alto, and Mississippi Saxophone
If you haven't heard of Neil Nolan, you  probably haven't been around Kansas City for long.  Neil has been a life long resident of Kansas City and has been in the music scene for most of that time!   Playing Tenor Saxaphone, Alto Saxophone and Harmonica, Neil's tasty tone keeps you wanting more.

Neil started playing in clubs in the early 1980's, with many groups, such as Blues Express,  Chain of Fools, Blue Reign, a Duo with Dan Bliss, Scotty & The Soultones, Platinum Express, and the Soul Shakin' Blues Band....just to name a few!  He also played in the band KC Brass & Electric along with Doghouse Daddies bassist, Bill Morlan.  In 1995 KC Brass & Electric won the Kanas City Blues Society Blues Challenge and represented Kansas City at the finals at the International Blues Contest in Memphis.  They also recorded two CD's, 'Dangerous Pleasure' and 'Tell Me What You Want'.  Wayne Jackson, of the legendary Memphis Horns was Executive Producer for, and played on, ;Tell Me What you Want'.

KC Brass horn section had the opportunity to record with King Alex  and the Untouchables on two CD's, 'Hot as a Coffee Pot' and 'Sugar Bowl'.  KC Brass also accompanied King Alex & the Untouchable to Utrecht, Holland, where they played the Blues Esteftte festival in 1996.

It is with sincere pleasure that we welcome Neil as the most recent addition to the Doghouse Daddies band!
