We call Greg "The Mechanic", because he has such a complete mastery of the drums he can approach playing with the precision of a master mechanic. Like his brother Gharett starting out in school at age 10, Greg went on to study music in college at the U M K C conservatory. His professional career began in 1974 playing with, as he says "too many bands to mention". In recent years Greg has worked with Fast Johnny, Dan Doran, Big John & the 39th street blues band, The Nortons, and Johnny I and the Receders.
Greg has had the opportunity to play at the Monterey Blues festival, in Monterey California, and done show openings for Mitch Rider, Dr. Hook, David Clayton Thomas, Commander Cody, and Jimmy Vaughn.
Greg is a welcome, and superlative addition to the DOGHOUSE DADDIES band!
